關於SQL Server 2012支援CPU數問題

Cross-Box Scale Limits
Maximum Compute Capacity Used by a Single Instance (SQL Server Database Engine) = Limited to lesser of 4 Sockets or 16 cores

請問如果我的Server有 2 Sockets with total 20 cores, 那SQL Server的Instance只會用到16 cores的意思嗎?

不是喔，他不是說兩者較小者，他允許 4實體cpu 跟 16個核心，你現在只有兩個實體，當然就是兩個實體啊
但這是個人淺見，如有錯誤請指正
