NPS上設定為smart card or certificate認証，但結果總是出现Reason Code: 16
Reason: Authentication failed due to a user credentials
老是用帳密認証，有人知為什麼嗎？
Server : Ms 2012 H2

更新證書，重新啟動NPS服務
"Reason Code: 16 Reason: Authentication failed due to a user credentials" 搜尋一下，很多人遇到
某個系統更新造成的，大多解法就是更新證書然後重啟服務

可能原因與做法：

確保用戶端設備已安裝有效使用者憑證。
檢查 NPS Server 是否正確配置使用EAP-TLS或PEAP-TLS，是否已啟用 “Smart Card or other Certificate” 選項。
NPS 伺服器憑證問題，確保該憑證是由信任CA簽發，名稱與NPS伺服器名稱匹配。
進到certlm.msc 檢查個人憑證，確認憑證尚未過期
如使用自簽憑證，用戶端可能未信任NPS的CA，確保用戶端信任該憑證鏈。
GPO配錯，gpedit.msc >Computer Configuration >Windows Settings >Security Settings >Public Key Policies >Certificate Path Validation Settings確保允許
Event Viewer查看NPS記錄錯誤
確保AD帳號有相對應憑證，且該帳號未被鎖定或密碼未過期。
