My Host Server : IBM X306m
Hardware : Pentium D 930 (with VT-x, x64), 8Gb Ram......,

I want to build a XenServer v6.x, but Mainboard BIOS (Updated) no setting to enable virtualization,

Question

Can I install windows VM in Xen?
If not, can i install a Virtualization Extended Page file in Xen? how to do?
Or just be able to install unix/linux base system in vm ???

I ask what VM Server can run it without intel-VT, VT-x or AMD-V ?

This is a Mickey mouse hardware already EOL/EOSL long time ago. Should not waste time on it to deploy VMware ESXi/Xen/Hyper-V.

May try to "hosted" hypervisor (Type 2 virtualization) like Virtualbox or VMware workstation.

因為現時正在用 Hyper-V Server，Domain內全是 Windows base sytem，我最終目的想只保留AD a/c (change to Samba4 AD+VPN+FTP+Mail+WEB) ，並盡量轉用Linux base system 去減省 Windows Server數量。因資源有限，還有一部 HP DL145G2，希望聽多點意見，非常感謝大家幫忙。

因為現在用另一部Desktop PC(amd x2 5200+,8Gb ram) 行Hyper-V server(Type 1), 分5個Windows base vm image去行，1 xdns & AD + 1 xvpn(gateway) + 1 xFtp + 1 xmail + 1 xWeb(只是簡介用途)。效能尚算合格。現在由想轉linux base, 現想知此情况用xen是否可跳過intel-vt/amd-v這些規格，還想知用Type2 hypervisor 在效能方面會不會差很多呢！(原因資源所限,暫時不能開源,不是我想用舊器材，請多見諒，謝謝各位幫忙！)
