安裝Oracle Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server 是否會影響到現有的oracle db運作
因為在選擇Oracle Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server 的時候，安裝畫面會出現移除原有的Oracle database 可是在模擬一個虛擬機來測試似乎又沒啥影響
所以上來問一下先進事是否會有影響

安裝Oracle Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server時不會影響原來的Oracle DB。
我猜您是把Oracle Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server安裝Oracle DB Server同一台Server上。
如果交易量大，可能會影響網路效能。

您看到的移除Oracle DB，我猜可能是安裝Oracle Transparent Gateway for Microsoft SQL Server時會叫出Oracle Net Configuration Assistant，這個支援程式問您是否要清掉Oracle DB Connection，重新建立。

在安裝文件中有說要Cancel掉Oracle Net Configuration Assistant的組態動作。

基本上，就算您還是選擇執行Oracle Net Configuration Assistant，也不會出什麼問題，因為您是在Oracle DB Server上安裝，SQL*NET中與本機Oracle DB的連線資訊不會遺失。

我是在Windows平台上安裝，Linux平台應該也是OK的。
