IBM DS3400 Change Logical Drive Ownership 失敗

小弟今天發現IBM DS3400亮橘燈,透過DS管理中心做Controller change Logical Drive Ownership/Preferred Path controller slot B 竟跳出錯誤.
請問各位大大有什麼方法能順利切換嗎?

"Error 1011 - A management connection to the controller in slot B must be defined to complete this operation.

If you are managing this controller directly through the Ethernet (out-of-band), you must define its management connection (IP address or host name) using the Add Storage Subsystem option.

If you are managing this controller through a host agent (in-band), verify that all physical paths to the controller are connected and operational. Then run the hot_add utility on the affected host, and then Refresh or Rescan the Host."
在 IBM Forums 沒有看到 Error 1011 中意的答复。有人試過升級 Firmware ，有人試過 Shutdown and Power off completely 整個存儲器。版大可以碰碰運氣~~

兩個IP都有設定進去嗎 ?

可以連進去

上圖這樣顯示是否正確的雙控,我現現可以做A/B切換了.

A/B 都可以ping

重點是最後一張
不是你兩個控制器都ping的到就等於有連線
要在storage manager裡面確認兩個控制器的連線狀態

版大可以試試 Shutdown and Power off completely 整個存儲器，pull out 受影響控制卡（B?），wait for memory dsicharged，再 pull back 控制卡...

這個wait...不知道要等多久
因為控制器本身有電池保護
記得以前升級控制器的記憶體時
有一個按鈕還是什麼的要去按
維修手冊上面應該有寫
這種入門款DS系列構造很簡單的
不用怕

查了一下
不是按按鈕
是控制器抽出來
開上蓋
把電池斷開至少60秒

以前有遇到 out-of-band，Host Interface(s): Unable to retrieve latest data; using last known state 問題，需要升級控制卡 firmware 和 update drive of SAS，rebuilt baseline，很多工需要 following online 維修手冊。

Change Logical Drive Ownership/Preferred Path 的Controller owner及Preferred path 是否會一樣還是兩個是不同控制卡.
原本是Controller owner A ,Preferred path B現在都是顯示同一個控制卡.

prefer path就是你的path預設路徑
正常來講prefer與current要一樣
如果prefer與current不同
就會亮燈 (因為系統會希望使用者去瞭解為什麼path會切換, 是掉線, san switch有問題, controller壞掉之類的)

各位前輩謝謝幫忙會有這樣的疑問因鼎X電腦/群X 工程師都認為Prefer與Current要不同.

謝謝版大！建議搞清楚亮橘燈和控制器B跳出錯誤的真相，以免留下隱患前功盡棄。
做好99件工，頭家和客戶不會記得，做錯一回，客戶跳腳，頭家氣爆，碎碎念久久~~

他們都說不同的顯示代表著,該DS3400 Storage是有處於雙控模式,若沒有則是跑單控.
有官方的技術文件可以佐證嗎?

11.2.6 Change Logical Drive Ownership/Preferred Path
If you are using a dual controller version of the DS3000, each logical drive has a preferred controller of ownership. This controller normally handles all I/O requests for this particular logical drive. In other words, each logical drive is owned by one and only one controller at any point in time. The alternate controller only takes over and handles the I/O requests if there is a failure in the I/O path, for example, a defective HBA or switch.
