別人寫的PHP專案原始碼，我找不到index.php內容開頭其中一個變數的定義，求助

最近都在看網路上別人寫的原始碼
原始碼來源於www.webidsupport.com
有個WeBid 1.2.2的原始檔可供下載(其實下載的檔名會是WeBid-1.2.1.zip)

在index.php內容開頭

include 'common.php';
include MAIN_PATH . 'language/' . $language . '/categories.inc.php';

其中$language的定義，往上層include查，找了很久都找不到
希望有前輩可以指點迷津

index.php 第15列 include 'common.php';
common.php 第68列 include INCLUDE_PATH . 'messages.inc.php';
messages.inc.php 裡就有一堆關於 language 的程式碼

「往上層include查」???

你所謂的上層是哪一支呢??
common.php 這支有看嘛?

有檢查common.php包含include
重新一個一個仔細查發現漏掉common.php中接近結尾的一段include

include INCLUDE_PATH . 'messages.inc.php';
