About the role
Acepodia is seeking a highly motivated and well-organized MIS Associate with cybersecurity capabilities to improve our IT infrastructure and comply with essential regulations across 2 of our operation centers in both Taipei and the San Francisco Bay Area. This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, day-to-day operation, troubleshooting all IT-related activities, and offering integration and deployment of suitable cybersecurity solutions to our IT system.
This position also collaborates with cross-functional teams to configure and/or manage their specific usage system (e.g., quality management system, electronic laboratory notebook, etc.). It effectively supports the management team in evaluating the risk factors and monitoring the data protection issues.
In addition, this position provides IT training and assists onboarding orientation to ensure that colleagues have enough capability to streamline their workflow and cross-function/cross-region collaboration through various IT tools.

Education /Background
• Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Information
Management related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in MIS function.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Collaborate with IT Consulting team to monitor and manage IT help desk
• Accountable for monitoring and improving user satisfaction. Design and lead user adoption programs, training, and communication campaigns to support end-user digital transformation and enablement.
• Reactive to the requests and demands of internal users to troubleshoot and ensure real-time operation success.
• Plan, procure, configure, and maintains IT infrastructure, network, equipment, software, and environment.
• Manage IT software, service, or subscription vendors, including being the point of contact, resolve any technical issue with the vendor and obtain information for supervisors to make procurement decisions.
• Monitor cybersecurity-related software/application and ensure all anti-viruses and firewalls are regularly updated.
• Support cross-functional teams to configure and/or manage software and applications.
• Implement and support data backup and recovery maintenance.
• Implement IT-related compliance with essential regulations in the pharma/biotech sector across the company including identity management, user access, and data integrity, and ensure audit trails, system logs, and other monitoring data sources are reviewed periodically.
• Collaborate with IT consultants to improve IT infrastructure and make an IT roadmap plan corresponding to the company’s projected growth.
• Improve knowledge through research, continuing education, and keeping updated with the latest technological developments in the IT system.Other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Relevant Skills & Experience
• Practical experience with a broad range of applications and software including Google Workspace, Microsoft O365, OKTA, Box, office applications, Windows, Mac, etc.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and networks.
• Having knowledge/experience in cybersecurity, cloud maintenance, and NAS.
• Having experience/knowledge in building and maintaining Pharma/Biotech/GMP-related IT compliance policies and processes or computer system validation is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to complete tasks on time.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical details to stakeholders.
• Having maintaining ERP system experience is a plus.
• Strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Fluent in English.
