Served as JDE CNC consultant for a few years and implemented JDE in AS/400, HP-UX and Windows various platforms before. JDE on Windows platform is ealier way to be implemented compared with the rest of OS.

No matter what kind of "Enterprise Server" in JDE E1 you prefer (AS/400, Windows, Unix, Linux ), the "Deployment server" of JDE E1 running in Windows Server platform is a must. Since all of JDE binary codes ( installation, ESU, ASU & patches ), Workbenchmark tools and advance the objects from Pristine, Test/CRP--conference room pilot run, development and Production environments have to run in Windows platform + MS Visual Studio C++ compilier.

Oracle買下JDE後應該沒有人還會用SQL來當資料庫了吧。在台灣購買JDE，Oracle DB的部分等於是免費的，何必額外花錢買SQL呢??更何況還有整合問題。
