想請教一下Windows Server 和 SQL大神
有關的軟件, 需要Window Server 及SQL Server
版本需求都是2019 , 實體CPU是AMD AMD EPYC 7452 X 2 PCS
用在裝在VMWARE內的 VM。
現在搞的頭很大,想問我是應該購買16個 Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard - License - 2 cores - Open License - Single Language 和 SQL Server 2019 - License - 1 user CAL - Open License - Linux, Win - Single Language 嗎？
問了外廠商也是不知道，所以才常上來發問。

使用Standard版
VM的本體有64Core 2Socket
1份Windows Server Standard授權就是要買64核心(可開2個VM)
也就是需要買
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard -16Core License - x1
Microsoft Windows Server 2019 Standard -2 Core License - x24
Windows Server的補份再補充一下 還要買
Windows Server User CAL or Windows Server Device CAL
如牽涉到外部連線就必須買
Windows Server EC
SQL就看你間接使用人數去決定你要買Server License+CAL 還是直接用Core
超過一定人數買Core可能比較划算
但Core授權最少一次買4個Core
SQL有一項規定，如果牽涉到外部連接就必須買Core

原則就是你用虛擬化開Windows Server
本體的核心數都要買授權
我印象中16Core License是最基本的
你要開2個VM所需授權
16Core Licenses x1
2 Core License x 24
開4個VM
16Core Licenses x2
2 Core License x 48
如果需要10 CAL，最低的版本，就16Core X10 + 2 Core X240 對嗎？

CAL 是額外的東西
如果是10個User 1Host裡開2個Windows Server VM就會是
Windows Server 16 Core Licenses x1
Windows Server 2 Core License x 24
Windows Server User CAL x10
如果是10個Devices 1Host裡開2個Windows Server VM就會是
Windows Server 16 Core Licenses x1
Windows Server 2 Core License x 24
Windows Server Devices CAL x10
但在CAL印象中是選少的購買
Ex 10 Devices 6Users
就可以選擇只購買
Windows Server User CAL x6
就算只有兩個VM，如果直接購買Windows Server 16 Core Licenses x4，都是64Core，這也可以嗎？ 會有資源分配或其他影響嗎？

實體
Windows Server 2019 standard 16core 要1套授權，
所以 AMD AMD EPYC 7452 X 2 PCS 要 4套授權 (32core*2=64core)
CAL 算user數。
VM
因為已經購買4套 Windows Server 2019 standard 版本，
所以可以在VMWare上建 8 台的 Windows Server 2019 Standard 版本的 VM。

SQL Server 2019 數量 + 使用者 CAL
