但是
近日再去它的官網 CU3ER 變成1.x版了
卻變成更改授權分成3種, 商業使用要 $

雖然大呆大大的看法比較悲觀, 不過二呆認為應該是可以用的.
從 0.9.2 版的授權內容來看, 應該可以用在一般的商業應用上 (You may deploy SWFs containing CU3ER as part of hired work for a third party as long as the SWF is unique to said party), 唯一例外的場合, 是你用他做出來的成品, 不能再被轉賣 (replicated / resold / redistributed as part of a template, application or service to additional parties.)
基於信賴保護原則, 當您使用 0.9.2 版時, 適用的就是當時的版權宣告; 不會因為後來改版了, 以前那些用 0.9.2 版做出來的成品就變成通通要付錢了. 當然, 新版會有新版的授權方式, 這是作者可以主張的權利. 但是新版權利不能再套用到舊版上去, 因為當您拿舊版來用時, 裡面的權利已經被耗盡, 沒有變更的餘力.
否則, 萬一我花 30 元, 去租個 DVD 來看三天, 結果看到第二天的時候, 影片公司突然宣布「新授權」, 規定租片金調漲為每天要付一百萬元, 那我已經租的人豈不是被當盤子耍?

這一條的意思，是指你可以免費拿來評估，只要你的身分是 Admin 跟 developer，用來測試這個軟體的功能，上面可沒說你可以免費拿來裝在網頁上，給一般用戶瀏覽。
除非還有其他授權條文，只是你沒有列在上面。
通常比較小的公司，開發的軟體，會提供給用戶免費測試，滿意了再付款。
大公司，例如微軟，會推出比較便宜的版本，例如個人使用的版本，費用比較便宜，有區別於企業使用的版本。例如 Windows 7 就有好幾個版本。
這個應該不是陷阱，只是提供給你試用的機會，應該不可從事商業用途。
