求救...有關remote command line appliance in esxi4.0 的問題

請問一下...remote command line appliance 到底是什麼樣的功能?? 作用是什麼?
在網上爬文很久了...看到好像是vmware tech support 的功能...因為公司本來是用free 的esxi 4.0...但現在想用rcl...但現在vsphere 已經出了5了...想請問一下...要買那個license 的vsphere??? 是直接把esxi4.0 升級到vshpere 5的那個版本才有rcl 這個功能? or 還有其它的解決辦法?? 求救><

以下說明節錄自 VCP VMware Certified Professional on VSphere 4 Study Guide: Exam VCP-410 一書:

"Remote command line appliance" 是 ESXi 3.5 版本當時的說法, 2008 年首度被更名為 VIMA 1.0, 到了 2009 年, 他已經正式被命名為: vMA (vSphere Management Assistant), 請到這裡參考相關資訊:

資料都看了....但其實還是不太明白...vma 的其中一個功能是cli.他也可以用到remote 功能來管理..對吧?? 但如果我的esxi 4.0 is free license..那我要怎樣用這個功能呢?是要買什麼license??是stand? enterprise?

vMA 也是 Free 的, 他是包裝成 OVF 格式的一台 VM, 請利用 vSphere Client 將他匯入即可變成一台 VM 獨立執行.

請先下載 OVF 檔之後, 選擇: File > Deploy OVF Template, 或參考這裡的畫面:

有個問題..他說vma 有一個是free license..只有r/o 功能...但好他好像是要r/w的功能...這個功能要買license 才能使用..還是搞不太懂= =
