同一片RAID Card做兩種RAID

有些Server級的機器可以這樣玩

例如:

在一台有8個HDD Tray的機器, 上5顆硬碟
其中2顆做 RAID 1
剩下的三顆做 RAID 5

此Raid Card支援所謂的Multiple Raid即可做二組以上的功能!

It is subject to server design in "the hard-drive backplane, risers, and power supplies".

Mixed Raid level is widely used in SAN storage (Dynamic Volume Expansion and Dynamic Raid change) for flexibility of business needs.
