關於Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0裝完後......

我們公司在Server2008 上安裝Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0的主控台及Liveupdate但是用戶端電腦一樣都還是10.0版的不想更換11.0，要是更新病毒定義檔的話，我可以指定連到我新架設Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0那台嗎?因為我怎麼測試都連結不到?可是他在Liveupdate裡有可以下載舊版本的更新檔還是我哪裡要設定?各位幫我解答一下:D 謝謝囉

是唷，那有支援病毒定義檔更新吧!? 要不然為什麼Symantec Liveupdate Administrator裡面可以選10X的產品?

寫script排程到底下這一頁下載派給 user 或許還有可能解決您目前的問題~

或是....裝第二台主控台 ( SEP 10.0 版的), 分開控管~

How to manually update definitions for a managed Symantec Endpoint Protection Client using the .jdb file

依據上面這篇文件說明, 小弟建議您寫個批次檔並排程每天下載下列檔案
ftp://ftp.symantec.com/AVDEFS/norton_antivirus/static/jdb/symcdefv5.jdb

將下載下來的 symcdefv5.jdb, 依據 OS 不同擺放在Client 電腦該放置的資料夾中
這樣 Client 電腦就會自動更新病毒碼

Windows XP / 2003:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\inbox
Windows Vista / 7 / 2008:
C:\Program Data\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\inbox\

根據 Symantec 原廠的 KB 文件, 你不能混合管理 9/10 版與 11 版的 Client:
Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 Frequently Asked Questions

原廠建議的最佳作法, 是分別在不同的電腦上, 安裝管理不同版本的主控台, 然後盡快將所有的舊版本升級到一致的新版本.
