公司添購了一台ASUS P11C-X的Server, 裝了Ubuntu系統在128G SSD上
想在另外兩顆1TB HDD上做RAID 1當資料碟, 但因為沒做過RAID目前有點混亂
爬文看到有分Software RAID和Hardware RAID
目前我是照手冊用板子內的「Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise SATA/SSATA Option Rom工具程式」去把兩棵HDD設定RAID 1(這樣算Software RAID嗎?)

但現在問題是設完不知道怎麼使用HDD的硬碟空間
有爬到這篇替 Linux 新增硬碟（磁碟分割、格式化與掛載）, 照著這篇在格式化的時候出現問題
/dev/sda is apparently in use by the system; will not make a filesystem here!, 爬文似乎是跟RAID也有關
這時突然想到依照以前裝Windows的經驗也是先｢分割>格式化」, 但做這兩個動作的時候會不會影響到一開始的RAID設定呢?還是說要先做完這兩個動作在設定RAID呢?
想請問正確步驟到底該怎麼做, 謝謝
