Install pyenv

1. Consider installing with Homebrew:

brew update
brew install pyenv

2. Set up your shell environment for Pyenv:
   For Zsh:

echo 'export PYENV_ROOT="$HOME/.pyenv"' >> ~/.zshrc
echo '[[ -d $PYENV_ROOT/bin ]] && export PATH="$PYENV_ROOT/bin:$PATH"' >> ~/.zshrc
echo 'eval "$(pyenv init -)"' >> ~/.zshrc
source ~/.zshrc

Usage

1. Get the list of all available versions:

pyenv install -l

2. Install additional Python versions:

pyenv install 3.10.10

3. Switch Python versions:

pyenv global 3.10.10

4. Let’s ask to pyenv which version we have available now:

pyenv versions
