第一次看此系列文的朋友,請先移步到 Day 1 – 如何開始?進行方式、自我介紹實戰 哦!
今天是團隊內部的 weekly tech talk,你需要分享一個你最近學到的新技術或工具。常常在這種場合,很容易卡在「怎麼開始」或「怎麼讓大家聽懂」上。
今日目標:用簡單英文開場,清楚講出技術的核心概念。

- Day: Day15 – Tech Sharing
- Scenario: Team weekly tech talk — sharing a technical concept or tool in simple English.
先選擇一個技術主題(例如:GraphQL、Docker、Redis),想一下:
並且把關鍵字寫下來。
我的關鍵字:
記得把對話錄下來,自己聽一次,想想有哪裡不自然、哪裡需要調整。
救命句:
Let me explain it in a simple way.
爭取思考時間:
Give me a second to think about that.
1. Per-turn Corrections:
Turn 2: You said "it always use for caching data."
Rewrite: It's often used for caching data.
Alternative: It's commonly used to cache data.
Turn 4: You said "when a huge throughput to request data."
Rewrite: When there's a huge throughput of requests for data.
Alternative: When there's a high volume of data requests.
Turn 8: You said "and test it for a lot of requests."
Rewrite: And testing it with a lot of requests.
Alternative: And putting it under a lot of load to test it.
2. Top 3 Patterns:
Articles (a/the): Sometimes missing “a” or “the.”
Rule: Usually add 'a' before a singular noun if it's general, 'the' if it's specific.
Prepositions: Using “to” instead of “with” or “for.”
Rule: Think of “with” for tools/methods and “for” for purposes.
Verb Tenses: Mixing past and present forms.
Rule: Keep it consistent within the same sentence.
3. Phrase Pack:
“Redis is often used for caching.”
“We use Redis to reduce latency.”
“In a side project, I tested it with many requests.”
“It’s not too hard to learn if you practice.”
“One benefit is faster response times.”
4. Intonation Tip:
Try stressing the key word in a sentence. For example, “REDIS is often used for caching.” This helps important terms stand out.
5. Fluency & Pronunciation Notes:
Overall pacing is good; you slow down well when needed.
Keep practicing those small linking words like “a” or “the.”
Your pronunciation of technical terms is clear.
Good job repeating corrected sentences.
Intonation is natural; just add a bit more emphasis on key words.
6. Key Focus for Next Time:
Work on article usage (“a,” “the”).
Practice consistent verb tenses.
Do a 2-3 minute drill: shadow a corrected sentence, then try substituting different technical terms in the same structure.
